  <abstract>Curso de álgebra moderna es una obra matemática que guía al lector desde los fundamentos del álgebra lineal hasta los límites del álgebra homológica, presentando estructuras como grupos, grupos abelianos, módulos, anillos y dominios de integridad, y utilizando el lenguaje de categorías y funtores para resaltar las similitudes y diferencias entre las distintas teorías. Su propósito no es ser exhaustivo, sino familiarizar al estudiante con el razonamiento y la perspectiva propios del álgebra moderna, culminando con la introducción a los funtores derivados Ext y Tor que abren las puertas a la teoría homológica.</abstract>
